The western region of the United States has a span of more than 3,000 miles when you consider the islands of Hawaii and our most northern state, Alaska. Both of these states are the newest to our country and part of the West. The West consists of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.
Amazon has Amazon Pantry and Amazon Fresh, which are two grocery services that accept EBT orders. Amazon Pantry delivers your online order to your home, and the shipping is free if your order is more than $35. Amazon Fresh delivers, but you can also pickup your order from locations in major cities like Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, and Phoenix. It’s not currently available in Alaska or Hawaii.
Walmart makes it easy for you to buy groceries with your EBT card. You can use it in person or online.
However, online orders for EBT cardholders are not available if you are not in Alaska, Hawaii, Montana, or New Mexico.
Kroger, along with its affiliates QFC and Fry’s Food Stores, is a grocery chain in 35 states, including all western states except Hawaii. The stores accept purchases made with an EBT card both in person and online.
You can order your groceries from Kroger online, select your pickup date, and a store associate can bring your order to your vehicle when you go to the store’s curbside order area.
Albertsons and Safeway are very large grocery store chains located primarily in the western United States that allow customers to pay for groceries with an EBT card in person. Additionally, customers in Arizona with certain disabilities may contact the company to use their EBT to make an online order.
